Day 15, part 2
New links in sidebar
Yeah, confession time; day 15
Today (August 15th) I pressed the button at Care2.

Days Five and Six
On Sunday I didn't have internet access, so I wrote a letter for an action in the AI newsletter, reminding China of its promises to improve its human rights record on winning the 2008 Olympics bid, and particularly raising the case of a housing rights advocate who has been imprisoned and tortured after trying to organise a demonstration against forced evictions.
Today I:
- pressed the button at Care2; and
- Sent off a letter for this action opposing the death penalty in Iran.

Day One. Not as in the Torchwood episode, which wasn't very good.
Today I
- Pressed the button at Care2
- Wrote to the Egyptian authorities about arbitrary detention and torture in the 'war on terror'
Also on July 31st I made a bunch of 'Justice and Solidarity' cards to send to Brits in Guantanamo Bay.

What'd I say about the hideous learning curve?
First post
I've set up this blog to keep track of stuff I'm doing for my pledge over at PledgeBank. The month I've picked is August 2007, though today I:
- Sent off some cards with solidarity messages to a couple of people in Guantanamo Bay
- Sent back a card in my membership pack asking for more information about how to get more involved
- Pressed the button at Care2.
I've not used Blogger before, and I'm sure the learning curve will be hideous. I've already had to edit this post once because my HTML made Blogger cry... anyway. I'm going to try and post some relevant links down the sidebar, to make daily action easier for everybody. Also, feel free to comment about what you're doing.
